Google Calendar Sync & Mobile Alerts β
Lawyers spend significant time on the moveβbetween court corridors, client meetings, and registries. MtaaLex features direct two-way synchronization with Google Calendar, bringing court diary fixtures straight to your phone.
How to Connect Your Google Calendar β
- Click on your profile avatar in the sidebar or go to User Settings.
- Select Integrations & Calendar.
- Under the Google Calendar Sync section, click Connect Google Calendar.
- A secure Google authorization popup will open. Select your official work Google account (
@gmail.comor Google Workspace email). - Grant permission for MtaaLex to create and synchronize calendar events.
- Once connected, your status will change to Connected with a green badge.
What Happens When Calendar is Synced? β
- Automatic Event Creation: Every time you or a colleague schedules a mention, hearing, or ruling on a case you are assigned to, an entry is created on your Google Calendar in real time.
- Mobile Notifications: Your phone's calendar will pop up reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before the court appearance.
- Direct Case Links: Each Google Calendar event description contains a direct link back to the MtaaLex Case File, allowing you to quickly pull up pleadings right from your phone before the bench.
Disconnecting Google Calendar β
If you switch phones or change your email address, navigate back to Integrations & Calendar and click Disconnect Calendar. You can reconnect with a different account at any time.
