Google Calendar Sync & Mobile Alerts

Lawyers spend significant time on the moveβ€”between court corridors, client meetings, and registries. MtaaLex features direct two-way synchronization with Google Calendar, bringing court diary fixtures straight to your phone.

How to Connect Your Google Calendar

  1. Click on your profile avatar in the sidebar or go to User Settings.
  2. Select Integrations & Calendar.
  3. Under the Google Calendar Sync section, click Connect Google Calendar.
  4. A secure Google authorization popup will open. Select your official work Google account (@gmail.com or Google Workspace email).
  5. Grant permission for MtaaLex to create and synchronize calendar events.
  6. Once connected, your status will change to Connected with a green badge.

What Happens When Calendar is Synced?

  • Automatic Event Creation: Every time you or a colleague schedules a mention, hearing, or ruling on a case you are assigned to, an entry is created on your Google Calendar in real time.
  • Mobile Notifications: Your phone's calendar will pop up reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before the court appearance.
  • Direct Case Links: Each Google Calendar event description contains a direct link back to the MtaaLex Case File, allowing you to quickly pull up pleadings right from your phone before the bench.

Disconnecting Google Calendar

If you switch phones or change your email address, navigate back to Integrations & Calendar and click Disconnect Calendar. You can reconnect with a different account at any time.
